I finally got a chance to watch this movie and I highly recommend it to anyone that is a Disney fan. The documentary, directed by Don Hahn and produced by Hahn and Peter Schneider, brings to light what really happened during those years of the Disney Renaissance. It sort of brings this inside-look, a re-telling about the new corporate team, the artists, the triumphs, the drama, the tension, and sadness that came from the animation studios during this period. It also celebrates Roy Disney, Frank Wells, Joe Ranft, and Howard Ashman; the important figures that has contributed so much to the Disney Renaissance and to the Disney legacy. It also has amazing bonus features like deleted scene and studio tours through out the years. For me, this documentary made me appreciate all the hard work and teamwork that goes behind an animated feature; all the artists that strive for a good story, rather than money. I also am even more in love with the Disney company and the history behind it. And I definitely cherish all those movies that had made my childhood. I feel so nostalgic from watching it and I definitely want to know more about the company. Forever Disney.

This morning I woke up freaking out that I was three hours late to a Van Halen concert and was gonna miss David Lee Roth…maybe I have some sixth dream-sense when it’s a hair metal rock star’s birthday. So happy birthday to Eddie VH.
Or something.
Serious 80’s flashback. Check out the hair, the clothes.
